OptiWMS API

Several stores

Several custom stores in one organization, and a custom store next to Shopify or WooCommerce.

Several stores

One OptiWMS organization can run many sales channels at once: several OptiWMS API integrations, Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, or a mix. Each connection is its own integration row with its own id, secret, base URL and warehouse mapping.

Same order number, different stores

Two custom stores may both use order number #1001 and the same SKU. Each store registers separately and sends PUT /orders/{orderId} under its own integration credentials. OptiWMS keeps a sales order per integration: both import, both can be picked, and each store receives only its own stock and shipment callbacks.

GET /orders/{orderId} is scoped to the calling integration. Asking store A for store B's private order id answers 404 ORDER_NOT_FOUND.

Warehouse mapping

Each OptiWMS API registration picks one warehouse. Stock pushes for that integration use the stock of the mapped warehouse (and the integration's stock buffer). Map each store to the warehouse that fulfills it.

Notification webhooks

Dashboard webhook subscriptions see orders from every channel in the organization. Use the store object (integration_id, name, store_order_id, store_order_number) to tell them apart. Manual orders omit store. Details are in Webhooks.

Next to Shopify or WooCommerce

Keep the official Shopify or WooCommerce integration for those stores. Add an OptiWMS API integration only for a platform OptiWMS does not ship a connector for. Do not dual-write the same Shopify order through the OptiWMS API; that creates a second sales order and duplicate picks.

Connect your own store

Register the integration in the dashboard, then start with GET /ping.
